How It Works

Airmail Drag uses WebSocket connections to push score updates instantly to all viewers. When a scorekeeper enters a round, everyone watching sees the update in real-time.

Features

🔴 Live Indicator

Active games display a red "LIVE" indicator. When you see this, you're watching real-time updates as they happen.

Animated Score Display

Scores animate when they change, with a flip-clock style effect that makes updates visually engaging for spectators.

Doubles Player Tracking

In doubles games, the interface shows which player is currently throwing from each end. This helps spectators follow the action and track individual performance.

Round-by-Round History

Every round's scores are displayed in a scrolling history, showing raw scores and cancelled scores for complete transparency.

For Spectators

Anyone can watch live games:

• Open any active tournament
• Click on a court showing "In Progress"
• Watch scores update in real-time
• No login required to spectate

For Scorekeepers

The scoring interface provides:

• Easy bag entry (in/on buttons)
• Automatic cancellation calculation
• Round history with edit capability
• Clear visual feedback on input

Connection Status

If your connection drops, the app will attempt to reconnect automatically. A refresh will also re-establish the live connection.

Queue Display

When games are queued waiting for courts, spectators can see the queue and upcoming matchups, building anticipation for the next games.
