Tournament Overview
Airmail Drag makes it easy to participate in cornhole tournaments. Whether you're joining your first local event or competing in a championship, the process is straightforward.
Tournament Journey
- Find - Browse public tournaments or get invited to private ones
- Register - Sign up as an individual or form a team
- Check In - Confirm your attendance on tournament day
- Play - Compete in your matches with live scoring
- Review - See your stats and standings after completion
Finding & Joining Tournaments
Browsing Tournaments
- Click "Find Tournaments" in the menu
- Browse the list of upcoming public tournaments
- Each tournament shows:
- Tournament name
- Date and time
- Location
- Format (Singles, Doubles, etc.)
- Available spots
Tournament Details
Click on any tournament to see:
- Full description
- Entry fee (if any)
- Prize pool information
- Number of courts
- Game rules (score limit, round limit)
- Current participants
Registering for a Tournament
- Open the tournament details page
- Click "Register" or "Join Tournament"
- If it's a Doubles tournament:
- Choose to invite a partner OR
- Wait to be invited by someone else
- Confirm your registration
Requirements
Some tournaments may require email verification, entry fee payment, or club membership.
What You See on Tournament Pages
Before Tournament Starts (not_started)
- Tournament Settings (format, team type, score limit, courts, etc.)
- Players/Teams Entered list with each player's PPR rating
During Tournament (in_progress or paused)
- Tournament Settings
- Current Standings table with live rankings (👑 for leader)
- Your games and scores
After Tournament (completed)
- Tournament Settings
- Final Standings with medals (🥇🥈🥉 for top 3)
- Complete statistics for all participants
Standings Sorting
Rankings are determined by:
- Wins (most wins first)
- Points For (highest points scored, as tiebreaker)
- Points Against (lowest points allowed, as final tiebreaker)
Tournament Types

Singles | 1v1 matches - just you against an opponent | 1 player |
Doubles | 2v2 with a partner you choose | 2 players |
Team | 4-player teams | 4 players |
Random Doubles | System randomly pairs you with a partner | 1 player (paired automatically) |
Tournament Formats

Tournament States
Tournaments progress through several states:

Don't Miss Check-In!
Check-in is required to participate. If you register but don't check in during the check-in window, you may not be included in the tournament.
