Creating Tournaments
Step-by-step guide to creating and configuring tournaments.

Tournament Creation Steps
Step 1: Basic Information
Tournament Name
- Give your tournament a descriptive nameTeam Type
- Singles, Doubles, Team, or Random DoublesDate/Time

Step 2: Choose Format

Single Elimination | One loss and you're out | Quick tournaments, time constraints |
Double Elimination | Need to lose twice to be eliminated | Want to give everyone more games |
Ranked Rounders | Multiple games, matched by standings | Round-robin style, fair matchups |

Hybrid | Rounders → Elimination | Qualifying rounds + playoffs |
Step 3: Game Rules

Round Limits
Setting a round limit (like 10) ensures games finish in a predictable time. If neither player reaches the score limit, highest score wins.
Step 4: Format-Specific Settings
For Rounders
Number of Games
- How many games each participant playsPoints per Win
- Standings points awarded for wins
For Elimination
Best of X
(optional) - For multi-game matchesThird Place Match
- Whether to play for 3rd place
For Hybrid
Qualifying Games

Using Presets
If you run similar tournaments regularly, save your settings as a preset:
- Configure all your tournament settings
- Click "Save as Preset"
- Name your preset (e.g., "Weekly Singles League")
- Next time, just select the preset to auto-fill settings
Preset Contents
Presets save: format, game rules, team type, and all advanced settings. You'll still need to enter the tournament name and optional date/location.
After Creation
Once created, your tournament is in the "Not Started" state. From here you can:
